Machines KLEMM

KLEMM KR 800-3G

Particularly compact and light. 100 kW engine output and all features of an anchor drilling rig which can be used universally.

Modern operation
Included as standard with delivery of the KR 800-3G is a portable radio remote control with integrated display for showing working pressures. The best part of this is that the operator of the unit can position themselves outside of the danger zone, with a perfect view of the working area, at any time.

Efficient energy use
The hydraulic system works with two main load-sensing pumps each with 120 l/min and a pressure level up to 350 bar. Optimal power distribution via Power Sharing (patented) takes places automatically as one of the elements of the EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficient Power). The EEP-Package also includes adaptive speed adjustment of the diesel engine, adjusted to the drilling situation at hand. As well as lower noise emissions, this also contributes to fuel savings of up to approx. 25%.

Small but strong
The KR 800-3G is a powerful, compact drilling rig with a total weight of 9.5 t for a wide range of drilling tasks. The 100 kW CAT diesel engine complies with the current emission regulations.

Sensitive and adjustable
Many machine parameters can be set using the touchscreen installed as standard – without needing to use additional tools or to remove hoods. In the case of a fault, detailed diagnostics can be performed using the display (or using the optionally available DTR module). The control uses mobile control units with integrated CAN bus technology and highly accurate  position control of the valve pistons. Direct communication between the operator panel and control unit siginificantly reduces reaction times of the valves, making operation of the machine extremely sensitive and precise.

Modular kit
There are two different modular drill mast types available for the Drilling rig: Drill mast type 140 and drill mast type 162. Both are extendable. Recommended drives are the KLEMM rotary head KH 21
or the hydraulic drifter KD 1011.

KLEMM KR 606-3

The drilling rig with drill mast kinematics for confined spaces. With a machine width which allows it to be carried through doors and a selection of diesel or electric Power Packs, which can be positioned independently of the drilling rig.

Modular drilling rig concept
Many applications can be covered by the modular drilling rig concept, such as underpinnings, jet grouting work, micropiles, nailing and anchoring.

Operator safety
With the tried and tested radio remote control with display, the operator can take up a safe working position around the drilling rig at all times. In accordance with the requirements of EN 16228, operator safety is ensured by the high functional safety of the control concept. An interlocking movable guard for moving parts in the drilling process is available.

Compact dimensions
With its compact dimensions, the rig is ideal for use in buildings and other confined construction sites.

The special outrigger kinematics
The newly developed drilling rig kinematics enable rotation of the boom around the vertical axis of the drilling rig. Not to mention the telescope function of the height-adjustable boom and the tilting and turning function of the drill mast support. Among other things, this makes the positioning of drilling spots beside the track frame convenient. The drilling rig is supported by four hydraulic supports, which ensures in combination with the asymmetrical, Telescopic crawler type a high stability.
